During the 3 days of the 2023 NFL Draft, franchises agreed to 43 swaps and beat the 2019 record with 40 trades.
Houston ended up picking 2nd and 3rd on Thursday after the trade with Arizona Cardinals. Texans added QB C.J. Stroud from Ohio and LB Will Anderson Jr. from Alabama with their picks.
Five more teams made on-the-clock trades in the 1st round.
Arizona also traded 1st on the second day of the draft. Cardinals acquired 2 picks – 41st and 72nd, and 3rd round selections for the next year’s draft and gave Tennessee Titans 33rd pick that drafted QB Will Levis from Kentucky.
