World number 3 Carlos Alcaraz defeated world number 5 Daniil Medvedev and will play for a 2nd straight year at the match for the trophy in Wimbledon, where he will face either Djokovic or Musetti.
Daniil played great tennis in the 1st set, and after both players converted 2 breaks each, the set was decided after a tiebreak, which Medvedev won, giving his opponent only 1 point in him. However, after that, began Alcaraz’s dominance as he won the next 3 sets to eliminate his opponent.

The Spaniard needed only 1 break to win the 2nd set, as the same happened in the 3rd set as in both sets, Daniil didn’t have any break opportunity. In the 4th set, Medvedev converted 1 break but Alcaraz answered with 2 breaks to win and to advance to the final in London where he will try to defend the title that he won last year against Novak Djokovic as the same final to happen is very likely at the moment as the Serbian is the favorite against his Italian opponent at the other semifinal.
