The Royal Club manager Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed reports linking superstar footballer Vinícius Júnior with a transfer to Saudi Arabia as “just speculation.”
Real Madrid’s head coach shared with the media today in Warsaw ahead of his team’s 1st match of the campaign tomorrow, the UEFA Super Cup vs. Atalanta, where he shared new addition Kylian Mbappé could make his debut.
The rumors started yesterday that the Brazilian (24) was considering a proposal from the Saudi Pro League, although Vini Jr. is happy in La Liga, and the Madrid giants do not want the footballer to leave.
“There isn’t anything at all,” Carlo claimed in a prematch news conference today. “There’s just speculation in the current transfer window, which closes at the end of the month. There’s just speculation, I can’t add anything more.”
Ancelotti also added that Real Madrid’s project is not threatened by Saudi Arabia’s investment in the game as the Middle East country has seen high-profile signings such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Neymar.
