The Italian is happy to work with what he has

Carlo Ancelotti claimed Real Madrid will not be searching for new center-backs in the upcoming January transfer window, despite their injury problems.

Los Blancos recently suffered huge blow, when David Alaba tore his anterior cruciate ligament. He follows in the footsteps of Eder Militao, Eduardo Camavinga and on top of that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

That has left the Spanish team quite vulnerable at the back, but manager Ancelotti is not too concerned about key players’ absence.

“We are not thinking about signing a new center back in this moment”. Ancelotti said.

“We have Nacho and Rüdiger as CBs. Also, we have Tchouaméni and Carvajal — both can play as center backs”.

Despite their injury woes, Los Blancos look quite sharp as they recently got promoted to 1st place in La Liga, tied with Girona, but with better head-to-head score.
