The Three Lions star Jude Bellingham has talked about the importance of footballers needing to “feel loved” as he will try to win the World Championship with his country.
The 2026 World Cup already started as Mexico defeated South Africa 2-0 in the opener, while England will play their 1st match at the competition on Wednesday when they face Croatia in Texas.
Jude was part of the squad that reached the final at Euro 2024, where England lost to Spain.
“During the European championship, some of the things off the pitch were not good,” Bellingham revealed. “Even when we won matches, we didn’t play really well, and that was a reason for extra stress.”
Jude added that this time things are better, and the players learned from the experience, and now everything is more positive on and off the pitch.
Bellingham also shared that every player must feel loved and that it’s a huge part of the squad, and that’s how everyone feels right now in England.
