The 2023 French Open has finished and has offered plenty of interesting pairings.
Most notably, the potential clash between world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.
Alcaraz was seeded No.1 for the first time in his career and was therefore placed automatically at the top of the bracket.
Djokovic, however, being the No.3 could have being drawn in either the top or the bottoms half. As it stands he will be in the top bracket, where Alcaraz finds himself. That sets up a potential clash between the young Spaniard and the 22-time Grand Slam winner.
In the woman’s section a potential 1/4 final may ensue between defending champion and world No.1 Iga Swiatek and wolrd No.6 Coco Gauff, a repeat of last year’s final.
Elena Rybakina could go against Ons Jabeur in the 1/4 finals, Sabalenka could face Caroline Garcia and Jessica Pegula could meet Maria Sakkari.
