The struggling Chelsea forward drew comparisons with Kevin de Bruyne and Mo Salah's spells at Stamford Bridge

Nicolas Jackson expressed his dissatisfaction with the critics aimed at him by declaring he doesn’t care what they have to say.

The 22-year-old is enduring a mixed season at Stamford Bridge, bagging 8 goals in 19 appearances. But he has found the net in only 5 out the last 16 Premier League games and, by his own admission, he must be more clinical in front of goal.

The Senegal striker revealed that manager Mauricio Pochettino is a big support to him and reminded that Kevin de Bruyne and Mohamed Salah also had difficulties while at Chelsea early on in their respective careers.

“It is OK, it is not what I was going for, though it is my first season, so I am happy, although everybody is talking s***, I am very happy. I don’t care what people say.” Jackson said.

“It is just people who don’t know about football. I will just continue to play more games and score more goals for the team.”
