Hooker had a year left in his previous two-year contract, which he signed after a 4-year stint with the Indianapolis.
The 27-year-old’s playing time has improved drastically as he recorded 31 games with the Cowboys as opposed to the 36 appearances he had with the Colts.
His time in Indianapolis has been plagued by injuries and Hooker generally struggled to settle.
The 27-year-old tied Trevon Diggs for second on the club with three interceptions last season. Diggs himself signed a contract extension, worth $97m.
