New York keeps a lead of 2-1 in the series before Game 4 in Indianapolis

Andrew Nembhard’s clutch 3-pointer with just 17.8 seconds left on the clock propelled the Indiana Pacers to a thrilling 111-106 victory over the New York Knicks in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series held in Indianapolis.

Despite the Pacers’ win, the Knicks still maintain a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series as they head into Game 4 on Sunday afternoon, also in Indianapolis.

The game saw a dramatic finish as the Knicks’ Jalen Brunson knocked down a crucial 3-pointer to tie the score at 106-106. However, Nembhard responded with a remarkable step-back 3-pointer from well beyond the arc, breaking the tie and sealing the victory for the Pacers. Notably, Nembhard struggled with his shooting before making that critical shot, going 1-for-7 from the field.

Tyrese Haliburton was the standout performer for the Pacers, scoring an impressive 35 points on 14-of-26 shooting from the field, while also dishing out seven assists. Pascal Siakam contributed 26 points to the Pacers’ winning effort, while Myles Turner recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, including six offensive boards.
