The Magpies leave Tottenham no chance at home, beating them 4-0 in their battle for Champions League spot

Alexander Isak’s impressive goal-scoring streak at St James’ Park continued as Newcastle secured a crucial victory over Tottenham, boosting their aspirations of European football for the next season.

Isak demonstrated his clinical finishing with two well-taken goals, extending his remarkable run of scoring in home matches to six consecutive games. With these goals, the striker has now amassed an impressive tally of 17 goals in just 24 Premier League appearances this season.

Anthony Gordan and Fabian Schar also found the back of the net for the Magpies, while Timo Werner had a couple of opportunities for Spurs but failed to convert them into goals.

Newcastle’s resounding win propelled them to sixth place in the Premier League table, edging ahead of Manchester United by a single point. Meanwhile, Spurs slipped to fifth position, remaining level on points with Aston Villa but trailing Unai Emery’s side on goal difference.

The victory for Newcastle significantly bolsters their chances of securing European football next season, marking a significant achievement for the club.
