Los Blancos got important win before the second leg in Champions League against Liverpool

Real Madrid needed a comeback to win 3-1 against Espanyol in their La Liga match on Saturday.

The clash on Santiago Bernabeu started excellent for the away side and they scored inside 8 minutes. Joselu received a wonderful pass inside the box and beat Thibaut Courtois.

In the 22nd minute Los Blancos leveled the scoring. Vinicius Junior showed once again his perfect dribbling skills with a great solo run and left Pacheco no chance to save.

Six minutes before the break Real Madrid completed the comeback. Eder Militao connected with great cross and placed his header into the roof of the net.

15 minutes before the end Carlo Ancelotti made a triple substitution and Rudiger, Dani Ceballos and Marco Asensio entered the pitch, which helped the home side to keep their advantage until the stoppage time when Asensio scored the third goal.

Real Madrid sits second in La Liga with 56 points – six away from the leader Barcelona, who has a game in hand. Espanyol remains 13th with 27 points.
