The Reds manager claimed the system worked against his club all season.

Arne Slot was unhappy with the referees atter Liverpool’s 3-2 loss vs. Man United, sharing a “complete pattern” of VAR decisions have gone against his team in the current campaign.

The Dutch head coach talked about the Sesko goal that involved a suspected handball. The Red Devils completed 1st Premier League double against Liverpool since the 2015-16 season. The crucial moment came when Sesko scored despite the ball appearing to brush his hand. After a VAR review, the goal remained. “If Sesko is touching the ball with his hand when he scores, it must be disallowed. But that doesn’t surprise me that it stands, because when there was VAR intervation, it was always against us in the current campaign. It happens again and again.”

Slot added that similar situations were judged differently in the Champions League, but in the EPL, he believes his team was robbed this season.
