Houston Rockets choose not to pick Stephen Silas’ 4th-year option on his deal, and he will not return to lead the franchise next year.
Silas was the head coach of the Rockets for the last 3 years, but on Monday, the GM of the franchise, Rafael Stone, will make it official that they are letting the coach go.

Stephen (49) became the head coach, and in his 1st year, the team’s star James Harden was traded. Houston ended this season with a 22-60 record, as his overall record in his 3 years was 59-117.
