The defensive back was given the toughest possible fine for unsportsmanlike conduct for what he did after Tiger-Cats’ 38-12 defeat to the Montreal Alouettes last week. After proposing a handshake to Alouettes receiver Austin Mack, with whom he did conflict during the match, Chris pulled back his hand and shoved Austin to the ground.
Saskatchewan Roughriders WD Samuel Emilus also will have to pay a fine for his strike on Calgary Stampeders defensive back Jonathan Moxey during the Green Riders’ 29-26 victory on the weekend.
Edmonton Elks DL J-Min Pelley has been fined for a tourist hit on Toronto Argonauts player B.J. Byrd during Toronto’s 43-31 victory on Sunday.
The fines each player must pay are not public per CFL policy.
