The start of the new tennis season is just around the corner, and excitement among fans is palpable. Many experts are also pondering whether Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner can once again pose a challenge to Novak Djokovic. Of course, the likes of Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Alexander Zverev are also in the reckoning for major titles. Additionally, some believe that the young American star, Ben Shelton, will continue his breakout and make an even more significant impression in 2024.

Now, world number 6, Stefanos Tsitsipas, has clearly outlined his goals for the upcoming season. The Greek tennis player expressed his desire to bring an Olympic medal to his homeland and stated his hope to triumph with a Grand Slam title.

“I have serious hopes for 2024 because everyone enters the season with their hopes and dreams. I just want to be healthy, and my intentions are extremely ambitious. I want to play many big matches throughout the season. I know the Olympic Games have exceptional value, and I want to bring joy to my compatriots. I will go to Paris with the clear goal of winning an Olympic medal, and another major goal I set for myself is a Grand Slam title, and I believe I can perform exceptionally well. I am looking forward to the start of the season and will give my best,” said Tsitsipas.
