The Chicago White Sox emerged victorious against the Texas Rangers in a hard-fought match 7-6 on Tuesday night.
A late rally with 3 runs in the 8th inning helped the Chicago team prevail. Elvis Andrus tied it with a single off Grant Anderson, which eventually enabled two runs with two outs. Zach Remillard followed it up to make it 3 in total, despite being challenged by the opposing team.
“At the end of they day, they enforce the rules,” he said. ’We play the game and it went our way and we can enjoy it.”
The White Sox overcame five RBIs by Corey Seager, including a two-run double in the top of the eighth, which put Texas 6-4 in front.
Andrus had a solo shot and finished with three RBIs against his former team. Eloy Jiménez hit a two-run homer that ended Texas’run of three-games winning streak as the White Sox achieved only their 3rd win in their last 10 games.
