After the end of the regular season, Raiders GM Tom Telesco suggested star WR Davante Adams wouldn’t be traded when he claimed, “He is a Raider.”
Adams confirmed that today as he admitted his love for the team.
“If I wanted to be traded, I’d be traded by now,” the wide shared with the media from his football camp. “That’s the organization that I wanted to play football for.”
Las Vegas acquired Davante from Green Bay in 2022 and then inked him to a 5-year, 140 million-dollar deal extension. Despite that, there were always rumors that he would be traded in the last 2 offseasons.
However, while the wide receiver might have had some disagreements with Josh McDaniels, his ex-boss, Adams, likes the current head coach, Antonio Pierce. Davante publicly shared that he was very happy when it became clear that Pierce would be the new permanent manager of Las Vegas.
Davante Adams is happily staying with the #Raiders next season:
“If I wanted to be gone, I’d be gone by now.”
