The Spaniard won in two straight sets
Carlos Alcaraz beat Daniil Medvedev in the final of the Indian Wells Masters 6:3, 6:2 in just over an hour of play. With his triumph in the tournament, Alcaraz returned to the first place in the ATP rankings.
The Spaniard started the match well, breaking Medvedev in his first service game and leading 3:0. There were no other breakthroughs in the first part and Alcaraz won the part 6:3.
The second set started in an identical fashion. Break for Alcaraz, consolidate the break and another one for a 4-0 lead. The Russian won his next service game, but he had no strength to resist the Spaniard and he closed the match after 6:2 in the second part.
