Carlos replaced Novak as the new number 1 this week.
Carlos Alcaraz is again in the 1st place in the ATP rankings after his triumph at the Queen’s Club Championship allowed him to get enough points to replace Novak Djokovic at the top. The Serbian decided to rest before Wimbledon and will not play an official tournament.
The only chance for the Spaniard to be number 1 before Wimbledon was to win the title at Queen’s Club, and Alcaraz did it. Carlos will be the 1st seed at the upcoming Grand Slam on the grass at Wimbledon next week.
In the top 5, we will also find the Russian Daniil Medvedev, who is 3rd, the Norwegian Casper Ruud in 4th place, and the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas 5th.
Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime keeps his 12th place in the rank list.
