The Birmingham club is in talks to sign the attacker.

Aston Villa are very close to ink Alejandro Garnacho on loan, with a potential obligation to buy.

The Argentinian attacker, who is 21 years old, was made available to sell by the Blues for 43 million pounds in June, but the team is ready to let him go on loan if a clause is featured for the winger to be bought after that.

It happened after the west London club agreed a record 117 million pound fee for Morgan Rodgers from Aston Villa in the past weekend.

Since then, both Alejandro and forward Nicolas Jackson, available for 65 million pounds, were discussed in a separate exchange that would see them move in the opposite direction to Birmingham.

If the deal went through, the Argentinian winger would be Villa’s 4th signing this summer after Johan Manzambi, Joao Gomes, and Modou Kaba Cisse.

Unai Emery’s side has already sold players for over 200 million pounds, including Youri Tielemans, Donyell Malen, Enzo Barrenechea, and Lewis Dobbin.

Chelsea are ready to let Garnacho leave despite signing him only 1 year ago in a 40 million pound transfer from the Red Devils.
