The League 1 One Tykes had triumphed 3-0 a few days ago in the replay against Oakwell, as the 1st clash finished 3-3.
“We would like to apologize to our supporters, footballers and staff for this amateur mistake,” the expelled club shared after the verdict about their FA Cup participation was announced.
Although the side has not named the player, attacker Aiden Marsh was on loan when their 1st clash from the tournament was played, and then the forward played in the replay on November 14th as his use was ineligible according to Football Association rules.
