Bayern Munich loses Choupo-Motting as injury crisis emerges

Forward Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting is the latest Bayern Munich player to get injured. He was left out of Cameroon’s squad for the upcoming friendlies against Russia and Senegal.

The 34-year-old footballer will return to Munich, where he will receive treatment. It is not yet clear how long the striker will be out, but most probably will miss Bayern’s next game in the Bundesliga.

Chupo-Moting is another player of the German champion who is injured. In addition to him, Dayo Upamecano, Rafael Guerreiro, Matthijs de Ligt, Serge Gnabry and Manuel Neuer are in the infirmary as the last two are expected to return after the international break.
