At 18 years and 115 days he became the third-youngest player with a four-point game
Chicago’s Connor Bedard played his best game in his career so far after being selected No. 1 overall in June, scoring four points as the Blackhawks stormed to a 5-3 win over Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.
Bedard was quick off the blocks and inside the first 22:12 he scored two goals and added two assists.
He became the youngest player in Blackhawks history to have a multigoal game and at least three points. At 18 years and 115 days old, he is the third-youngest player in NHL history with a four-point game.
Tyler Johnson and Corey Perry scored goals against their old club, and Chicago rookie defenseman Kevin Korchinski tallied for the first time in his NHL career.
