The Boston Red Sox player Tanner Houck got stitches and visited a hospital after leaving the match against the New York Yankees when a line drive ended up on his face.
“He was conscious during the whole thing, so that’s a very positive sign,” head coach Alex Cora shared after the Red Sox’s 15-5 victory. ” Tanner got cut and is in the hospital now getting more tests. We will have more information in a few hours. But it could end up a lot worse.”
“Houck knew that he was on the field, and he kept saying he was all right,” the manager added.
