Valtteri Bottas shared his thoughts on the 2023 season, labeling the Alfa Romeo car as ‘difficult to drive’.
The Italians eventually finished ninth in the Constructors in what proved to be a disappointing season for them. It is a large contrast to what they achieved in 2022, where they finished sixth and Bottas expressed his belief the car will be much better in 2024.
“It’s been a tough ride. There’s been a few occasions we have scored, but not enough times. So, I’m definitely waiting for more highlights next year with a new car.”” the Finn said.
“There’s nothing fundamental but the good thing is we do have a completely new car with some new ideas with new people in the team and that’s exactly what we need now. So, we need to make big steps over the winter. That’s the key.”
Bottas finished 2023 in P15 with 10 points, which contrasts his run in 2022, when he bagged 49 points to sit P10.
