Conor Garland might join Washington Capitals

Conor Garland’s name has been circulating in the rumors mill for a potential transfer towards the Washington Capitals.

It is not the first time Garland has been discussed for potential move as his name has been linked with the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Nashsville Predators and the Winnipeg Jets.

It was reported on Saturday that the Vancouver Canucks have given the forward permission to get in touch with other teams.

The Canucks are willing to move Garland in part because it’ll clear some much-needed cap room. According to reports, they could retain 30 percent of his $4.95-million annual average value through 2025-26 to facilitate a deal.
