Former English international Danny Capriani expressed its frustration over the performances of current England’s team in their humiliating 29-10 loss to Ireland.
Capriani took to the social media to criticize current players and said that the team is “led by people who do not understand the art of the game”.
“If you’re trained to think and not to feel you’re always going to be one step behind,” Capriani wrote on Twitter.
“English rugby is digging its own grave, led by people that do not understand the art of the game.”
“It’s steeped in tradition and heritage, which is outdated and the very thing shackling the game.”
The former player also pointed the finger at the poor quality of coaching as current boss Steve Borthwick has achieved only 3 wins in his first 8 games after being appointed as Eddie Jones successor last December.
