The goalkeeper (33) is still “young” at his position but after leaving Man United after 11 years, he didn’t sign with a new team for an year. De Gea had offers 12 month ago but decided not to pursue career in the Middle East and to wait for the right opportunity to play in top European team again.
David was close to ink with Genoa in the past month, but at the last possible moment, the deal collapsed, now it seems that the goalkeeper will play in Serie A as the Violets already booked medicals for him.
