Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick shared with the media that Raphinha will return to the squad to face Betis.
The German manager gave information about the Brazilian forward and Frenkie de Jong ahead of the club’s match in LaLiga tomorrow and also spoke about how he will manage Lamine Yamal’s minutes on the pitch.
Barca boss confirmed that Raphinha is available to be in the group after rejoining training with his teammates. However, Flick added that he will not rush with the Brazilian and will limit his time on the pitch until the striker feels ready for a bigger role after the injury.
Raphinha sustained an injury while with Brazil during the international break and missed the club’s visit to Getafe in the league and the UCL game against Galatasaray. However, the Brazilian is back in training now.
Asked about Lamine Yamal’s workload, Flick shared that there is no simple answer: “It is not an easy thing to do. I must manage Yamal’s minutes, but the most important thing is that Lamine enjoys playing this game, and that’s what is happening right now.”
🚨 Hansi Flick: “The situation isn’t easy for Balde right now, and I’m fully aware of that. But he’s training really well, and that’s the first thing he needs to do”.
“This situation isn’t ideal for Balde, but he’s working with great professionalism”. https://t.co/1u4EsOwrSG
