Warren Foegele scored on a wraparound early in the third period, lifting the Los Angeles Kings to a 3-2 comeback victory over the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night. The win marked the Kings’ fourth consecutive triumph, despite falling behind 2-0 midway through the first period.
Tanner Jeannot contributed a goal and an assist, while Joel Edmundson also found the net. Goalie David Rittich made 26 saves, helping the Kings secure the win. The team found success by pressuring Stars goalie Jake Oettinger in close during the latter stages of the game. Foegele’s seventh goal of the season gave Los Angeles the lead just 2:22 into the final period.
For Dallas, Wyatt Johnston scored a power-play goal, and Mason Marchment added another tally. However, their three-game winning streak came to an end as Oettinger managed just 15 saves.
