UConn manager Dan Hurley, who has led the Huskies to back-to-back national titles and refused the chance to be the head coach of the LA Lakers in June, has inked a new deal to stay at his current position through the 2029-30 campaign.
Dan’s new contract is worth 50 million dollars over 6 seasons before performance-based bonuses.

“I love to teach basketball at UConn and to represent this world-class university and the great state of Connecticut,” Dan shared after the news of his new contract. “We are very happy about the championship program that we have rebuilt for all the people that support us. We will continue to obsessively pursue titles while continuing to develop great young basketballers. Bleed Blue!”
In the past month, Hurley refused a 6-year, 70 million dollar deal to become the Lakers’ manager. After that, Los Angeles appointed JJ Redick as the new boss.
