The Seattle striker sustained the injury during practice session
Jordan Eberle will likely be sidelined for Kraken’s upcoming match against the Colorado Avalanched after the striker suffered from a cut on his leg from a skate blade.
The 33-year-old sustained the injury during practice session just before the game against the Avalanche.
Seattle general manager Ron Francis revealed that Eberle suffered a cut near his quad muscle and had an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.
The results of the MRI are yet to be revealed and coach Dave Hakstol is expected to speak after the team had a morning skate on Thursday.
The Kraken have called up Shane Wright and Ryan Winterton from Coachella Valley of the AHL in order to fill in the void, left by Eberle.
