Juventus put an end of their Serie A struggles, winning 3-2 against Frosinone at home in their clash of the Serie A Round 26.
The Turin side were seconds away from being five game without a win, but Daniele Rugani scored the winner in the last minute of stoppage time.
Serbian striker, Duhan Vlahovic, made an early impact by scoring within two minutes, converting Weston McKennie’s cross. However, Frosinone responded swiftly, with Walid Cheddira’s powerful header leveling the score.
The first half in Turin was action-packed, with Frosinone taking the lead through Marco Brescianini’s emphatic finish. Yet, Vlahovic showcased his finesse, skillfully equalizing minutes later. As the teams headed into the break, the match was finely poised.
In the second half, Juventus intensified their efforts, bombarding the opposition box with numerous crosses. As the prospect of a fifth winless league game loomed, defender Daniele Rugani emerged as the unexpected hero. He calmly slotted in from a corner at a sharp angle, threading the ball through the Frosinone goalkeeper’s legs.
The late goal brought immense relief to the Allianz Stadium, as Juventus concluded their period of poor form in a thrilling and dramatic manner.
