“We allowed a couple of goals, but we didn’t give up, just kept playing our game, and I believe we’re capable of coming back in matches, and tonight was evidence vs. a very elite opponent,” the Penguins head coach shared.
“I really loved the match tonight.”
Rakell on the mindset going into the 3rd period: “Things didn’t really go our way at the start of the game, but it was still just a one-goal game. That gave us hope to try to come back in this game and do everything we can. And that’s what we did.” pic.twitter.com/q7hcjZ9lr9

With the point, Canucks remain on top at the overall NHL standings with 83 points, but manager Rick Tocchet didn’t like that his team lost.
“We’re still at the top, but we need some individuals to play better; some guys are just OK. It’s been OK in the past few matches, but you must contribute,” the Vancouver boss admitted.
J.T. Miller notched and assisted, Nils Hoglander and Brock Boeser notched for the Canadian NHL franchise, with Tyler Myers adding an assist. Thatcher Demko made 36 saves.
