Manchester City is reportedly on the verge of finalizing the transfer of PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
This move comes as City prepares for the potential departure of their current goalkeeper, Ederson, who has attracted interest from Al-Ittihad and the Saudi club is ready to pay between 50 and 60 million euros, which will be reinvested in a new keeper.
Manchester City have approached Gianluigi Donnarumma as an option in case Ederson leaves for Saudi.
Donnarumma is happy at PSG and has held early-stage discussions about extending, but is known to be interested in playing in the Premier League at some stage in his career.🧤 pic.twitter.com/UdfJHiqnQl

Although Al-Ittihad offers huge salary to the Brazillian, it is not the main reason he requested a transfer as he feels his time at Etihad comes to an end.
PSG is open to offers for Donnarumma following their acquisition of goalkeeper Matvey Safonov from FC Krasnodar on June 14.
Donnarumma, who joined PSG in 2021, has made 114 appearances for the club and is under contract until the summer of 2026. The 25-year-old Italian goalkeeper is valued at 40 million euros by Transfermarkt.
