Slovakia manager Francesco Calzona will replace him as he inked his deal with Napoli until the end of the current campaign.
The new Napoli head coach will also remain Slovakia’s national team manager. The change in the head coaching position comes 48 hours before the Champions League match against Barcelona, as the 1st training session with Calzona will be on Tuesday.
Francesco is the 3rd head coach of Napoli this season as the team is currently 9th in Serie A, the 1st defending Serie A champion to fire 2 managers in the following campaign.
Calzona was formerly a part of both Sarri’s and Spalletti’s staff, so he has experience in Italy.
