Nuggets‘ Jokic triumphs with his 3rd NBA MVP in 4 campaigns

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic continued to add to his name as 1 of the best National Basketball Association players ever by triumphing with his 3^rd Most Valuable Player award today.

The Serbian won the trophy for the 3^rd time in 4 campaigns, succeeding last campaign’s MVP. Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid. Nikola beat  Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the OKC and Luka Doncic of the Mavs, who finished 2^nd and 3^rd, respectively, in the pool.

“I got to begin with the teammates; without them, I cannot achieve anything,” the Serbian shared on TNT after winning the award.

Nikola’s 3^rd Most Valuable Player triumph wasn’t close. Jokic had 79 1^st-placed votes and a total of 926 points. Gilgeous-Alexander got 15 1^st-placed votes and 640 points. Luka received 4 1^st-placed votes and 566 points.

In the top 5, we will also find Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo and Knicks’ Jalen Brunson.
