Edmonton tied the series after being down 3-0.

Connor McDavid finished with a point, so Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers’ other top players stepped up to secure the victory and put the team a 1 match from the Stanley Cup.

Draisaitl made his 1st major impact in the series by setting up Warren Foegele’s early goal, Adam Henrique and Zach Hyman notched in the 2nd period and Edmonton Oilers forced a Game 7 by winning 5-1 against the Florida Panthers at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB.

“The most important thing is that each game, we play for the victory, and this is going to be the hardest match for us,” Draisaitl shared. “We must be at our best level in Game 7.”

They are the 1st organization to even the final after being down 3-0 in the matchup since the Detroit Red Wings in 1945. Edmonton has the opportunity at the beginning of the week to join the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs as the only NHL franchises to come all the way back from that trail to triumph with the Stanley Cup.

Panthers had just 6 shots midway to the match and finished with 21.
