Oilers defeat Panthers 5-1 to force a Game 7

Connor McDavid finished with a point, so Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers’ other top players stepped up to secure the victory and put the team a 1 match from the Stanley Cup.

Draisaitl made his 1^st major impact in the series by setting up Warren Foegele’s early goal, Adam Henrique and Zach Hyman notched in the 2^nd period and Edmonton Oilers forced a Game 7 by winning 5-1 against the Florida Panthers at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB.

“The most important thing is that each game, we play for the victory, and this is going to be the hardest match for us,” Draisaitl shared. “We must be at our best level in Game 7.”
