PSG ink World Cup winner Torres from Barcelona

Ferran Torres, who netted the winning goal for Spain at the World Cup, officially joins PSG from Barcelona.

The forward has inked a contract with the European champions until 2031, and his transfer is worth around 50 million euros.

Ferran scored the extra-time winner vs. Argentina to help his country to win their 2^nd World Cup trophy in July. Torres also had a great last campaign with the Catalan side.

Torres netted 21 goals in 49 matches in all tournaments, along with 3 assists, and won LaLiga with his former team.

PSG, led by ex-Barcelona manager and footballer Luis Enrique, have become European champions in the last 2 years.

The French striker became the 2^nd high-profile goal scorer that the French have inked in the current transfer window after Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco.

PSG continue to win trophies as the latest came a few days ago when they beat Aston Villa 2-1 to lift the UEFA Super Cup.
