PSG have tightened up security both in training and on players after high-profile names such as Lionel Messi and Neymar were violently targeted by their own supporters.
A flock of fans was spotted outside Neymar’s house demanding the Brazilian leaves in the summer.
The same could be heard about Messi after the Argentinian constantly being jeered at Parc des Prince. He is believed to be heading out of the club after deteriorated relationship with the French giants.
In response to that the club has ordered more security to assure the safety of the players, especially that of Messi and Neymar.
‘Paris Saint-Germain most strongly condemns the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday,’ a PSG statement read.
‘Whatever the differences of opinion, nothing justifies such actions.
‘The club gives its full support to its players, its staff and all those targeted by such shameful behaviour.’
