The Tampa Bay Rays breeze past the Texas Rangers 7-3 in a clash between the top 2 teams in MLB on Sunday.

Shane McClanahan of Tampa Bay allowed 3 runs in the third inning and 4 hits in 7 innings as he became the first player with 10 victories in the major league.

Wander Franco homered for the Rays, who are currently 31-7 at home (the best home start since the Yankees in 1998).

“Another really strong performance,” Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash said. “Mac competed really well today, and made some big pitches.”

Robbie Grossman homered for the Rangers, who have lost 3 out of their last 4 games. France made it 7-3, as he connected for his first homer since May 9.

Martin Perez played only 3 1/3 innings (a season low), allowing 7 runs and 10 hits.
