Real Madrid won the FIFA Intercontinental Cup with a convincing 3-0 win over Pachuca in Doha. Despite a strong start from the Mexican side, who pressed Real’s defense and created early chances, their efforts failed to trouble Thibaut Courtois.

Real Madrid capitalized on their first opportunity in the 37th minute. Vinicius Junior received a sublime pass from Jude Bellingham, rounded goalkeeper Carlos Moreno, and selflessly set up Kylian Mbappé for a simple tap-in. Pachuca came close to equalizing in the 52nd minute when Nelson Deossa’s deflected shot narrowly missed the target.

Moments later, Rodrygo doubled Madrid’s lead with a stunning strike. The Brazilian maneuvered on the left edge of the box, cut inside, and curled a brilliant shot beyond Moreno.

Madrid sealed the victory in the 85th minute when Vinicius Junior converted a penalty after Lucas Vázquez was fouled in the area. The win underscores Madrid’s dominance in global competitions, adding yet another trophy to their illustrious history.
