Despite their inferiority throughout the game, it was actually Denmark who took the early lead through Niklas Jensen.
However, the Swedes were quick to react as Denis Everberg drew the score level 10 minutes later.
Andre Petersson gave them the lead with a power-play goal in the second period.
Afterwards, Sweden played a much more composed game and took full control over the match. Quick strikes from Lucas Raymond and carl Grundstrom rounded off the final score and gave them victory.
The Swedes will face the undefeated USA in the next round i a crunch clash for the No.1 spot in the group. Denmark, on the other hand, will go against defending champion Finland as they hope to bounce back from a string of bad results.
