Tiger shared on social media that he will compete at the tournament that he welcomes and benefits his TGR Foundation.
“Can’t wait to compete and host next week,” the golfer shared.
Tiger has competed in just 1 solo event since leaving the 2023 Masters, finishing 18th out of 20 golfers in the no-cut Hero World Challenge two months ago. Woods also finished in a tie for 5th place with his son Charlie at the PNC Championship a few days ago.
The Genesis Invitational was the tournament that Tiger was attending when he was involved in a car crash in 2021 that left him with leg problems.
He underwent a procedure on his right ankle 2 weeks after the 2023 Masters to deal with problems that were caused by the crash.
