Ex-Chelsea head coach and current Bayern Munich Thomas Tuchel shares that his biggest goal is triumphing in the Champions League.
The Bavarian side, which won the Champions League 6 times in its history, did it for the last time in 2020.
Thomas, who won the most prestigious European football club trophy in 2021 with the Blues and was defeated by his current team in the final in 2020 when he was leading PSG, will coach the German champion vs. Liverpool in Singapore tomorrow.
“We’re at a team where it’s about triumphing with trophies,” claimed Tuchel.
“No matter where you’re headed, you must begin the journey and take it one step at a time.
“You also need luck, and then everything can happen. It’s no use talking too much about our goal. We have to get better each day and develop a spirit.”
🗣️ “A very new situation, similar to China when they started their league. We are experiencing the next league that attempts to become more popular.”
