The Bulls could drop to fourth by the end of the round

Werder Bremen and RB Leipzig ended their game of the 16th round in the Bundesliga with a 1-1 draw, marking the final match of the year for both teams.

In the first minute of the game, Leipzig had a fantastic opportunity to open the scoring, but Castelo Lukeba’s shot hit the right post. In the 41st minute, Yusuf Poulsen from the visiting team scored a goal with a header, but the goal was disallowed as the player was in an offside position before playing the ball.

In the 47th minute, Lois Openda finally scored for RB Leipzig, showing great determination as his shots were twice blocked by goalkeeper Michael Zetterer, but he was accurate with the follow-up.

In the 75th minute, Justin Ndjinma demonstrated excellent ball control in the penalty area and then leveled the score with a precise shot into the bottom left corner of the goal.

RB Leipzig remains in third place in the standings but could be overtaken by Stuttgart, while Werder Bremen climbed one position and is now 13th.
