Zach Edey used Twitter to tell his fans the news but will keep his college eligibility.
The star of Purdue Boilermakers averaged over 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 34 matches in his 1st season with the team.
The basketball player from Toronto ended 6th for the best scorers in NCAA and 2nd for rebounds.
With him, Boilermakers secured the 1st seed before March Madness but were shocked and eliminated in the 1st round by Fairleigh Dickinson.
Zach Edey won 6 national Player of the Year trophies.
