Julian Alvarez started training with Atletico Madrid, but his future is still unclear as the key conversation he had planned with Diego Simeone about his future will have to wait at least until Wednesday.
The head coach extended his holiday for a few days after his team’s friendly in South Korea and won’t return to Madrid before midweek. That leaves the Argentinian striker to postpone a meeting he considers decisive, 1 he wants to have before he considers his future in the club.
Atletico Madrid didn’t want to sell Alvarez, and the directors of the team don’t consider selling him despite the fact that Barcelona are very eager to buy the Argentinian forward, along with other top European teams.
However, Alvarez considers his future and doesn’t mind continuing his career in Barcelona. The Argentinian will try to speak with the directors and the manager again to make it clear that he wants a transfer to the LaLiga champions, but at the same time, the forward doesn’t want to start a crisis or force the club to sell him by making drastic steps such as a boycott.
