The LA Lakers’ undefeated 3-0 start to this campaign already is in the history.
Today’s 115-103 defeat against the Detroit Pistons dropped the Lakers to a 4-3 overall and 1-3 on their 5-match road trip. But that’s not the worst news as Anthony Davis, who notched 37 vs. Pistons to up his lead-leading average to 32.6 points per match, was tested after aggravating a left foot injury in the 4th quarter.
“I will discuss the situation with my trainer to know more details about my injury,” Anthony shared with the media after the match. “I have been playing through the pain since the offseason, and my goal for every match is to play. But I landed on the foot that caused me problems, and we will see what will happen.”
Davis is questionable for Los Angeles’s match vs. the Grizzlies tomorrow to finish the trip.
