Forward Serge Gnabry and defender Matthijs de Ligt have resumed training with the Bayern Munich team, DPA reports.
Gnabry returned for the first time in three weeks after breaking his arm while Dutchman de Ligt recovered from a knee problem he picked up some weeks ago. This means that both will be ready for next Saturday’s Bundesliga match against Mainz.
Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who has been sidelined since breaking his leg skiing after Germany’s World Cup exit in December, is also training fully and could also return against Mainz, taking his place on goal back from Ulreich, who has been very shaky since the start of the season.
Most of Bayern’s players are still with their national teams and are expected to return in Munch by Friday.
